Principal's Statement

It gives me great pleasure to welcome students, parents, guardians, members of staff and the entire school community to Federal Polytechnic Staff Secondary School, Offa.

Our school remains committed to providing an environment where every student is encouraged to learn, grow, discover their potential and develop into a responsible member of society. We believe that quality education goes beyond academic achievement. It also involves discipline, integrity, respect, leadership, hard work and good character.

As a school community, we shall continue to promote academic excellence while strengthening discipline, responsible citizenship, creativity, teamwork and the personal development of our students.

I encourage our students to embrace learning, respect one another, obey the rules and regulations of the school and make every opportunity for personal and academic development count.

A smartphone-based electronic attendance system designed to record staff check-in and check-out within the approved school premises.

How It Works

Staff members log into the Digital Attendance Portal using their authorised credentials.

  • Login with staff credentials.
  • Allow required phone permissions.
  • Keep phone Location/GPS ON.
  • Check in on resumption.
  • Check out at close of work.

GPS Verification

The system uses the phone's location to determine whether the staff member is within the approved attendance area.

  • Phone Location must be ON.
  • Attendance is restricted to the school premises.
  • The system checks the device location.
  • Attendance outside the approved area is rejected.

Secure Attendance

The electronic system helps the school maintain an organised digital record of staff attendance.
